From her first appearance her album, she's released several albums. Of those albums three made it to the top of the US Billboard 200. The other albums came close to reaching the top position. Her name is one of the most popular artists who have emerged from American Idol. To achieve her success she experimented with different genres of music and experimented with themes. For her uniqueness and vocal talent, she has received critical acclaim as well as various awards. She has also received the Grammy Award a record three times. Alongside her music profession, she has also been involved in television and film. She also wrote the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has been involved with various charitable organizations.
