Kari Samantha (born on April 28, 1967) Wuhrer is a famous American actor and singer. Wuhrer began her career as she was a teenager. She is best known for playing Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders as well her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror-comedy film Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was born in Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble and worked as a pay clerk and German American Andrew Wuhrer. Her family has given her three brothers. She was a teenage singer who was a regular in the clubs, sneaking away from the family in order to do so. Her father is both an German American policeman as well as a salesperson for autos. Kari is the youngest of three kids. When she was just a teen, Kari was a performer in clubs, sneaking away from her home. Kari aged 13 years old studied at the Wooster School and Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She was also a student at Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College college, and also at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which she was taught by a professor known for her work as Uta. Kari started acting in her teens, with her first break on television coming from the 1987's MTV Remote Control.
