Andrea Joy Cook
A.J. Cook, an actor from Canada, is a Canadian actor most well-known for his portrayal of Jennifer Jareau (JJ) in Criminal Minds and The Virgin Suicides in 1999 as well as 2003, has also been known for various parts. Cook's television credits includes Dead Like Me (also known as Tru Calling), Higher Ground, Bluemoon and PSI Factor. She is an Mormon and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As a child she took the ballet, tap and jazz lessons. It was only when she was 17 that she decided to start acting. She had competed in numerous dance competitions. Dirty Dancing, starring Patrick Swayze has inspired Cook to become an actress. Cook was married to husband Nathan Andersen in August 2001. She first met Nathan Andersen at Utah Valley University, where she took a film class. They have a son, Mekhai Allan Andersen, born on September 13, 2008. She lives in Los Angeles
